ARTIST STATEMENT:
A PAINTED WAVE of inspiration was brought to me while listening to Foxygen’s album: “...And Star Power”. I was entranced by the enthralling energy of the music, whipping paint and clothing onto the canvas on the wall; using up-cycled clothing as painting tools.
The energy of Foxygen's album, like a perfect wave, made me feel absolutely free, and led me to go crazy and let out my ecstatic creativity on to the canvas with the clothing. Listen to the album here:
