A PAINTED WAVE of inspiration was brought to me while listening to Foxygen’s album: “...And Star Power”. I was entranced by the enthralling energy of the music, whipping paint and clothing onto the canvas on the wall; using the up-cycled clothing as painting tools. I then took the outcome of the painted clothing and sewed my designs on many of them to create this series. The clothes were bought second hand from the social initiative organization "Textil Hafen" in Berlin, which connects clothing donators with creatives such as ourselves.
The energy of Foxygen's album, like a perfect wave, made me feel absolutely free, and led me to go crazy and let out my ecstatic creativity on to the canvas with the clothing. Each clothing comes with a special lyric from the album.
