Artist Statement:
In our current pandemic society with isolation ever present, it is more easy than ever to fall into a dark state of mind. With every moment and interaction we have, with others or in our own mind, we are met with an opportunity to react in a positive or negative way. We can also decide how much meaning the moment holds. Drop Love Not Bombs was made with the intention to increase and spread the love, positivity, and meaning in everyday moments and interactions in this world.

Our evolution has seen humanity become self consumed by our own machinery. We have become so focused on technology and materialistic growth, that we have forgotten about nature. We are so involved in our work that we have become what we made for ourselves. Whilst the colours and patterns look natural and crazy, they are really a self induced artificial high, created by our own need to escape. Especially in more recent years, with the advancement of technology, where has humanity’s connection to nature gone? Where is our innocence and beauty before discovering machine? Is it in your fingertips?
